What is it all about?

It is about a 3 Hour Endurance Race with a Le Mans style start (1 rider holds the bike at a 45 degree angle while the other runs across the track at the start of the race)

It is all about team work, stragegy and pace not just 1 individual.

Seperate race for Junior (new and slower riders) and National (experienced and faster riders.) means you always have a chance of winning.

It is about long distance great value racing with trophies to the top 3 in each class.
Prize money is available to Championship winners at the end of the year!

Above all it is about a fantastic opportunity for you to enjoy racing.

What do you get?

  1. You get at least 7 rounds over 1 but mostly 2 days at some of the best circuits in the UK. Junior is on the 1st day and National is over 2 days
  2. You get long distance racing of 3 hours together with practice and qualifying
  3. Trophies for top 3 are given at each event and at the end of the year.
  4. Michelin Challenge Cup - A prize fund of £1000 for 1st, £500 for 2nd and £350 for 3rd for Michelin tyre runners. Both riders in the team must use Michelin tyres for the whole season. The Challenge Cup is across both Endurance Championships. Presented at the awards dinner and dance.

What does it cost?

  1. You may register at a cost of £75 which is non refundable. You will get a permanent race number and guaranteed entry as long as you enter on time.
  2. You have to enter each round, the entry fee will be announced at a later date.

What are the rules?

  1. Your bike must meet the capacities below and our Sporting and Technical guidlines
  2. You must use Michelin Tyres at all times while you are at the event if you want to be eligible for the MichelinChallenge Cup other wise the tyre make and type is free. Slicks are allowed as are wets and treaded tyres.
  3. You must put various stickers and marketing material on you bike or clothing if required

Junior TAG Endurance Series

National 1000cc

4 cylinder over 600cc to 1000cc

3 cylinder over 750cc to 1000cc

2 cylinder over 850cc to 1200cc

Number plates: White background, Black Numbers

Anything goes as long as the bikes conform to the current ACU regulations and the Hottrax Technical and Sporting Codes.

Slicks, Treaded and full wets are allowed. After market wheels are allowed.

National 600cc

4 cylinder over 595cc to 600cc

3 cylinder over 625cc to 675cc

2 cylinder over 625cc to 750cc

Number plates: White background, Blue numbers

Anything goes as long as the bikes conform to the current ACU regulations and the Hottrax Technical and Sporting Codes.

Slicks, Treaded and full wets are allowed.After market wheels are allowed.

General Information

2 bikes and 2 riders or 1 bike and 2 or 3 riders are required for this championship.

The transponder is taken from 1 bike and put on the other at the pit stop or if 1 bike is used live pit stops with refuelling and quick wheel changes are allowed.

Junior 1000cc

4 cylinder over 600cc to 1000cc

3 cylinder over 750cc to 1000cc

2 cylinder over 850cc to 1200cc
